Bendel Insurance Coach Ali Laments Loss to Nasarawa United
In the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday two, Bendel Insurance, led by head coach Jolomi Ali, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday. The decisive goal came from Sam Pam in the 55th minute.
Following the match, Ali lamented that his team deserved more from the encounter, emphasizing their misfortune in not securing a positive result. He stated, “It’s really unlucky for us not to get something positive out of this ground, especially after many games here,” highlighting that despite creating numerous scoring opportunities, they failed to convert any.
Looking ahead, Bendel Insurance is set to host Kun Khalifat FC in their next league match this weekend.
