NPFL: Barau FC, Shooting Stars, Rivers United, Bendel Insurance, Remo Stars Strengthen Ahead Of New Season

Several Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) teams have been busy strengthening their squads ahead of the new season. Barau FC signed goalkeeper Yusuf Muhammed Bala from Niger Tornadoes, along with midfielders Sunday Anthony and Abraham Nana Kwame.

The team will face Enyimba in their opening match on August 22. Shooting Stars in Oyo state unveiled their technical backroom team, including Akin Olowokere as head coach.

Rivers United from Port Harcourt agreed to sign Omaka Anthony from Heartland, while Bendel Insurance completed the signing of midfielder Austin Osayande. Remo Stars also secured the return of striker Victor Mbaoma for his third spell at the club.

The NPFL season is set to kick off on August 22, with these teams looking to make an impact with their strengthened squads.
