NPFL: Shooting Stars must start new season with a win – Coach Aweroro

Shooting Stars head coach, Nurudeen Aweroro, emphasized the importance of starting the new season with a win. The team is set to kick off their campaign against Bayelsa United at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

Aweroro, in his first official game in charge, urged his players to give their best, secure a win, and come out strong in the encounter. The NPFL season began with defending champions Remo Stars and Rivers United playing to a thrilling draw at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.

Aweroro's focus is on getting maximum points and scoring plenty of goals to ensure a successful start to the season.
