NPFL: Niger Tornadoes to adopt Lafia City Stadium as temporary home ground

Niger Tornadoes, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has announced that they will be adopting the Lafia City Stadium as their temporary home ground for the upcoming season. This decision comes after their original home ground, the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna, failed to meet the requirements to host NPFL matches.

The team is set to face Nasarawa United in their opening fixture, which will take place at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl Stadium in Ilorin before moving to Lafia for their subsequent home games. A club official confirmed that while the team had initially sought approval to play in Minna, they will now be playing in Lafia, Nassarawa state.

This move will allow Niger Tornadoes to continue their NPFL campaign without any disruptions.
