Plateau United Close to Appointing Gbenga Ogunbote as Technical Adviser for NPFL Season

Plateau United is in talks to bring on board experienced coach Gbenga Ogunbote as their new technical adviser for the 2024/25 NPFL season. Ogunbote, who previously managed Shooting Stars, is seen as a suitable candidate to help the struggling Plateau United team.

The decision reportedly favors Ogunbote over younger tactician Oluwasola Adegun, who has been facing challenges with the team's performance. The club's chairman, Alhassan Yakmut, is backing Ogunbote for the role, while former Rangers coach Fidelis Ilechukwu is also linked to a position at the club.
