Ogunbote Urges Plateau United to Enhance Goal Conversion
Gbenga Ogunbote, the technical adviser for Plateau United, stressed the importance of improving goal conversion for his team following a 2-0 victory against Inter Lagos during a matchday six encounter at the New Jos Stadium. The goals were scored by Gideon Monday and Jibrin Ibrahim in the second half.
Ogunbote expressed concern over the team's missed chances in the first half, which he described as wasteful, stating that this issue is not unique to Plateau United but affects other clubs as well. He acknowledged that anxiety and other factors can hinder a team's performance.
Despite the missed opportunities, Plateau United remains unbeaten in their last five league matches and currently holds the second position on the league table with 11 points from six matches.
