Ogunbote Calls for Focus After Plateau United's Loss

Gbenga Ogunbote, the technical adviser of Plateau United, expressed disappointment following his team's 2-0 defeat to Enyimba during their Matchday Seven encounter in Aba. Ogunbote described the loss as a result of "arrogance," urging his players to move on and concentrate on their upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League fixture.

The match saw Enyimba's Ifeanyi Ihemekwele and Richard Ezinne score, leading to Plateau United's failure to secure any points. Ogunbote noted that the team had initially dominated the game but lost momentum, allowing the match to slip away.

He also confirmed that key player Ibrahim Yahaya sustained an injury during the match and will be unavailable for their next game. Despite the setback, Ogunbote encouraged his players to learn from their mistakes and focus on their next challenge against Kano Pillars at the New Jos Stadium.
