NPFL: Plateau United goalkeeper Adeyinka reacts to betting allegation

Plateau United goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka has responded to betting allegations in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Adeyinka has called for a fair hearing regarding the allegations and expressed his desire to defend himself against the accusations.

The goalkeeper stated that he has sought clarification on the matter but has not received a concrete response yet. Adeyinka mentioned that he has not been invited by the League Management Company (LMC) to defend himself and feels that his club should not be prevented from registering him.

As per a DAILY POST report, Adeyinka has been suspended from the NPFL pending the investigation's outcome. The goalkeeper is eager to clear his name and hopes for a just resolution to the situation.
