NPFL Upholds Red Card for Wikki Goalkeeper Utim

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has upheld the straight red card issued to Wikki Tourists goalkeeper Godswil Utim during the match against Enyimba, which ended in a 2-2 draw. The decision means that Utim will be suspended for the next three games, which include matches against Bayelsa United, Bendel Insurance, and Ikorodu City.

The NPFL's disciplinary committee, led by center referee Jude Typhoon, confirmed the decision despite criticism from Wikki Tourists supporters. The club's Chief Operating Officer, Stanlei Ik Richard, stated that they have been given 24 hours to appeal the decision regarding Utim's red card.
