Hassan Abdallah Reflects on Tough Warri Wolves Victory

Warri Wolves technical adviser, Hassan Abdallah, reflected on the challenges faced during his team's narrow 1-0 victory against Kwara United in Ozoro. The match was decided by a lone strike from Eventus Itolowo.

Abdallah admitted that his team performed poorly overall, stating they were "second best" in the game. He noted that although they had aimed to score an early goal, which they achieved, Kwara United subsequently dominated the match.

Abdallah commended his players for their determination and resilience in defending against the attacking prowess of the Harmony Boys. He remarked on the unpredictable nature of football, suggesting that sometimes it is preferable to win without playing well than to lose despite a strong performance, encapsulating his thoughts with the phrase, "that’s Nigeria Football.".
