NDLEA Drug Seizures at Apapa Ports

The NDLEA seized drugs worth over N5 billion at various ports and arrested businessman Philip Tunde for attempting to smuggle cocaine to Milan. The operation followed extensive intelligence gathering and involved significant quantities of cannabis and codeine-based syrup.

The NDLEA intercepted over N5 billion worth of drugs and destroyed 20,234kg of cannabis in Osun State. The operations spanned from September 27 to October 2, 2026, involving significant seizures at major ports in Lagos and Rivers States.

NDLEA intercepted over N5 billion worth of drugs at Nigerian ports, including cannabis and codeine syrup. A businessman bound for Milan was arrested. The seizures occurred at Apapa, Tin Can Island, and Onne ports following extensive intelligence operations.
