NPFL Youth League: Akwa Utd Lead in Umuahia, Katsina Utd in Kano

Akwa United is leading in the NPFL Youth League in Umuahia, while Katsina United is ahead in Kano. Heartland has become a draw specialist at the Umuahia Centre.

In the first game of the day, Kano Pillars defeated three matches. Akwa United may have secured a spot in the final playoff with two wins in Group B1 at the Umuahia Centre.

Chinwendu Bright scored a goal in the 9th minute, earning six points with one game left. Akwa United only needs a draw to secure their ticket.

Meanwhile, Katsina United moved to the top by beating Warriors in a late morning fixture. Nasarawa United and Plateau United are also performing well in the North Central region.
