NPFL Youth League: El-Kanemi Warriors, Akwa United secure crucial wins

El-Kanemi Warriors and Akwa United secured crucial wins in the NPFL Youth League. El-Kanemi Warriors came from behind to defeat Nasarawa United, with Nazifi Yunusa opening the scoring for the junior Solid Miners before Bukar Yerima Abdullahi Sanib scored two goals for Warriors.

Akwa United beat Abia Warriors in a goal fest, with Imoh Asuquo, Chijindu Godwin, Chidom Obioma, David Ukpai Uchenna, and Dike Izuna all finding the net for Akwa United. Remo Stars emerged as champions at the Ikenne Centre, with striker Daniel Arierhi topping the scoring charts with four goals in five matches.

The top two teams from the Kano and Umuahia centres will face off in the tournament final.
