NSCDC Arrests Six Suspected Electricity Vandals in Kano, Confessions Made

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano has apprehended six young men suspected of vandalizing and stealing electricity equipment in the state. The suspects were caught in Hayin Da e Hotoro, Tarauni Local Government area, following a tip-off from local vigilantes.

The men, aged between 18 and 28, were found with stolen transformer cables believed to have been removed at midnight. The NSCDC revealed that the suspects had confessed to terrorizing residents in various areas through burglary, theft, and vandalism of electricity installations.

The Commandant of the Kano State NSCDC has ordered surveillance patrols to track down others involved in the criminal activities.
