NSCDC Mining Marshals Bust Illegal Mineral Storage Network in Rivers State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) mining marshals in the South-South zone have successfully dismantled an illegal mineral storage network in Rivers State. Led by CSC Babawale Afolabi and DSC Emmanuel Abiahu, the operation uncovered warehouses stockpiling minerals without proper permits or royalty payments.

The action was directed by Prof. Ahm Abubakar Audi to protect Nigeria's mineral wealth and enforce regulations, emphasizing the need for lawful mining practices.

The NSCDC urges citizens to support security agencies with credible information to combat illegal mining activities.
