NSE Unveils 2026 Boards and Committees to Drive Reform and Accountability

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) recently unveiled its 2026 boards and committees during a virtual inauguration ceremony led by NSE President, Ali Alimasuya Rabiu. The initiative is part of efforts to enhance the society's impact on national development by reinforcing its institutional foundation and credibility.

The newly constituted boards and committees are tasked with setting engineering standards, driving innovation, shaping public policies, and delivering value to NSE members and the Nigerian public. Key appointments include Kashim Abdul Ali as Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Tasiu Wudil as Chairman of the International Affairs Committee, Kamila Wopa Maliki as Chairman of the Board of Fellows, Abdul Wanori as Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, and Major General Obi (Rtd) as Chairman of the Security Committee.

The NSE President emphasized the importance of aligning activities with the society's strategic agenda, promoting innovation, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. The committees were urged to ensure proactive leadership, accountability, and effective collaboration to achieve the society's objectives and maintain professional standards.
