NSSF and NBA Africa Partner to Train Lagos Teachers in Basketball Development

The Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF) and NBA Africa collaborated to empower educators in Lagos through a training program aimed at enhancing basketball development at the grassroots level. The NBA Coaches Academy conducted training sessions for 100 teachers, including primary and secondary school educators and sports officials.

The initiative, held at the National Stadium in Surulere, focused on equipping teachers with the necessary skills to deliver quality basketball instruction in schools. NSSF President Olabisi Joseph highlighted the significance of the partnership in promoting basketball development in Nigerian schools, emphasizing the potential impact on grassroots basketball growth and the importance of equipping teachers with the right knowledge and skills.
