NWFL Conducts Draw for 2025 Championship in Abia, Promising Intense Competition

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) conducted the draw for the 2025 NWFL Championship set to take place in Abia from September 11 to 21. Sam Ahmadu, the Media Director of the league, revealed that four promotion slots are up for grabs this season.

Unlike last year, where only two clubs gained promotion, the winner of each group in the 2025 edition will qualify automatically for the NWFL Premiership. Teams like Royal Queens, Gallant Queens, and others are set to compete in the championship, promising to showcase the growing competitiveness in Nigerian women's football.
