Ekiti Athletes Shine at National Youth Games, Secure Invites to National Camp

Three athletes from Ekiti State have been invited to the national camp following their successful performance at the National Youth Games. The Technical Advisor for Sports Development in Ekiti State, Olusola Osetoba, expressed gratitude for the athletes' achievements and Governor Biodun Oyebanji's commitment to sports development.

Team Ekiti returned home with a total of 14 medals, including two gold, four silver, and six bronze medals, finishing in the 18th position out of 103 teenage athletes. The event, held in Asaba, Delta State, saw Team Lagos dethroning Delta as the overall winners.

The success of Ekiti athletes highlights the state's dedication to nurturing young talents and fostering a culture of sports excellence.
