APC Chieftain Claims Peter Obi's 2023 Momentum Fading, South East Support Wavering

A prominent APC member, Biodun Ajiboye, has stated that Peter Obi, former Anambra State governor, no longer wields the political power and momentum he once had for the 2023 presidential race. Ajiboye suggests that Obi's influence in the South East region has weakened, hinting at cracks in his support base.

Despite rumors of a merger between Obi and Atiku Abubakar, who collectively garnered 12 million votes in the last election, Ajiboye remains confident in APC's position. However, he acknowledges the need for a formal alliance between opposing figures to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
