Obidient Movement Finance Director Dr. Agada Resigns

Dr. Peter Agada announced his resignation as the Finance Director of the Obidient Movement during a press conference on Wednesday.

He cited a lack of structural coordination within the movement as the primary reason for his departure, emphasizing that his decision was not driven by personal grievances. Agada submitted his resignation letter three days prior to the announcement, stating that the movement's structure did not align with his professional growth as an architect with 30 years of experience.

He expressed surprise at being uninformed about meetings and activities within the organization. Despite his exit, Agada did not clarify whether he would continue to support Peter Obi or any political figures ahead of the 2027 elections.

He dismissed claims of external sponsorship, asserting that the movement is sustained by collective contributions and is not reliant on any single individual. The national coordinator of the Obidient Movement expressed disappointment over Agada's exit, highlighting ongoing efforts to restructure the group ahead of the elections.
