Obidient Movement Denies Imposing Peter Obi on ADC Members, Emphasizes Democratic Principles

The Obidient Movement has responded to claims of forcing Peter Obi on African Democrat Congress (ADC) members, asserting that Obi was given the presidential ticket based on principles, not coercion. Yunusa Tanko, a coordinator of the movement, emphasized the importance of promoting Obi in a democratic and collaborative manner without imposing him on anyone.

Tanko highlighted the significance of winning the party primaries and securing victory in the general elections in 2027. The movement aims to strengthen the ADC by welcoming more supporters of Obi and promoting him within the party.
