Obidient Movement Refuses to Support Peter Obi as Vice-Presidential Candidate

The Obidient Movement, a Nigerian political group, has issued a statement declaring their non-support for Peter Obi as a vice-presidential candidate to anyone. They emphasized their commitment to good governance, the rule of law, and the emergence of the right leadership in Nigeria.

The group clarified that while they support Mr. Obi's presidential aspirations, they will not back him as a vice-presidential candidate.

The movement aligns with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and emphasizes the importance of transparent and fair processes in choosing candidates. Tanko Yunusa, the national coordinator of the Obidient Movement, highlighted the group's values and principles in their decision-making process.
