Obi of Onitsha Unveils Programme and Partnerships for 2025 Ofala Festival

The Obi of Onitsha has unveiled the programme and partnerships for the 2025 Ofala Festival during a press conference at the palace in Onitsha. The festival, scheduled to run from October 7 to November 2, will feature traditional Igbo royalty traditions, including the principal events of Iru Ofala and Azu Ofala.

The festival will also include various cultural events such as the Owuwaji, New Yam Feast, youth carnival, medical outreach, art exhibit, and cultural workshops. Corporate sponsors like Globacom, Zenith Bank, Nigerian Breweries, and Nigbev are supporting the festival to expand its cultural influence.
