Ofatech College Alumni Push for Enhanced Participation

The Ofatech College Old Students Association (OTCOSA) is advocating for stronger alumni participation and support for Ofagb Technical College during its 2026 annual reunion held in Lagos. The call for deeper engagement was made by Ayodeji Ak, a member of the association.

Engr. Akpoyibo Isaac, the Lagos zone chairman, outlined the association's achievements and future challenges in his welcome address.

OTCOSA was established in 2018, initiated by Mr. Abanaba Joshua, to reconnect former classmates.

The association has expanded to four zones, including Lagos, Delta, Rivers, and Abuja, with members also residing outside Nigeria. Akpoyibo disclosed that the association is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and has undertaken several projects to support Ofagb Technical College.

Despite challenges such as low attendance at meetings, there is optimism for improved participation through reduced physical meetings and increased online engagement. The association aims to provide networking opportunities and support for its members.
