Police Foil Kidnap Attempt in Abuja, Officer Dies in Gun Battle

In Abuja, the FCT Police Command successfully thwarted a kidnapping attempt in Guto Village, Bwari, after engaging in a midnight gun battle that left two suspects dead and one officer killed in the line of duty. The operation was triggered by a distress call reporting an invasion by 30 armed men attempting to abduct residents.
