Ebonyi Police Kill 2 Suspected Hoodlums, Arrest 3 in Foiled Kidnap Attempt

The Ebonyi State Police Command eliminated two suspected hoodlums in a raid at Iyonu community, Ishielu Local Government Area, thwarting a kidnapping plot targeting a prominent individual in Isata community, Isu Onicha LGA. The arrested suspects, Mondai Okori, Ngwuta Fridai, and Simon Joshua, were found with a local-made single-barrel gun.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, emphasized the command's commitment to combating criminal elements in the state. The State Commissioner of Police, CP Adaku Uch Anya, assured residents of the state of ongoing efforts to maintain security and urged cooperation in crime prevention.
