Kira Taiwo Accuses Individuals of Exploiting Ogogo's Illness

Kira Taiwo, the daughter of veteran Yoruba actor Ogogo, publicly accused certain individuals of attempting to exploit her father's battle with stage-four cancer during an emotional TikTok live session on Saturday. Kira revealed that these individuals were making financial demands, with amounts reaching millions of naira and thousands of dollars, while the family’s priority remained securing appropriate treatment for Ogogo.

She expressed her distress over the situation, stating, “My father is a good father. Some people are even trying to make money with us in this whole situation.” Kira also shared the emotional impact of her father's illness on her family, particularly her uncle, whom she referred to as her “big daddy.” She disclosed that the family often discusses Ogogo's health in a group chat and that her uncle had expressed deep concern about Ogogo's condition.

Kira admitted to withdrawing from social media due to the emotional strain of seeing her father's pictures, stating, “I don’t know how I will see the world again” if anything were to happen to him.
