APC's Solomon Adeola Reveals Nine-Point Agenda for Ogun

Senator Solomon Adeola, known as Yayi, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, presented a nine-point development agenda titled ‘Itesiwaju’ during a visit to the Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists at the Iwe Iroyin Press Centre in Abeokuta. This agenda, developed over two years, aims to tackle the state's challenges in infrastructure, employment, security, education, health, agriculture, and industrialization.

The nine pillars of the agenda include Infrastructure; Tourism and Culture; Education and Human Capital Development; Security and Law Enforcement; Inclusive Health and Well-being; Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, Education and Youth Development; Agricultural Transformation and Food Security; Job Creation and Industrialisation; and Urban Environment and Physical Development. Adeola also promised to establish a Bus Mass Transit Programme and introduce commuter rail services linking Abeokuta with Lagos, alongside plans for affordable housing and new town developments.
