Ogun State Commences 50th Anniversary Celebrations with Weekly Road Commissioning

The Ogun State Government has kicked off its 50th-anniversary celebrations by commissioning major road projects weekly in various parts of the state. The Governor, Dapo Abiodun, led the commissioning ceremonies, starting with the Wole Soyinka Train Terminus in Sagamu and the Ayep Road in Sagamu Local Government Area.

The road commissioning exercise aims to highlight key infrastructure projects delivered across the state's three senatorial districts as part of the golden jubilee celebrations. The anniversary program also features events such as interfaith thanksgiving services, a state banquet, cultural displays, and a carnival float.

The road commissioning activities will continue in the following weeks as part of the ongoing golden jubilee activities.
