Ogun Government Allocates Land for Ijebu Ode Inland Dry Port Project

The Ogun State government has allocated 130 hectares of land along the expressway in Ijebu Ode for the proposed Ijebu Ode Port Terminal Project. Minister Gboyega Oyetola requested the land to Governor Dapo Abiodun, aiming to boost national trade, economic growth, and ease congestion at Lagos ports.

The project is expected to enhance Ogun State's industrial hub status and improve national GDP. The inland dry port will connect to the Lekki Deep Sea Port via a rail system, linking to other dry ports and the Gateway International Airport.

Governor Abiodun sees the project as crucial for industrialization and regional competitiveness, transforming logistics and the economy in Ogun State.
