Ogunbiyi Elected President of Nigerian Water Sports Federation, Promises Infrastructure Growth

Newly elected President of the Nigerian Water Sports Federation, Ogunbiyi, aims to enhance infrastructure and talent development for water sports. Ogunbiyi, elected unopposed with 13 votes, emphasized the need to build global-standard infrastructure and nurture athletes nationwide.

He highlighted Nigeria's abundant water resources and the potential to excel in international competitions. Ogunbiyi's vision aligns with the Federal Government's agenda for sports development.

The transparent election held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium also saw Kayode Abulazeez elected as Vice President. Ogunbiyi pledged to create a sustainable ecosystem with public-private sector support to propel the Federation to international recognition and participation in global events.
