Cross River Governor Otu Vows to Protect Oil Rights

Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu addressed a jubilant crowd at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport upon his return from Abuja, declaring that Cross River will no longer be denied its rightful place in Nigeria regarding oil rights. He emphasized that justice must prevail, especially concerning the ceding of Bakassi, asserting that the state should not lose its oil resources.

Otu also mentioned recent recognitions, including an award from Modibbo Adama University and a forthcoming honor from the Silverbird Group on March 1.
