Maduka Okoye Confirms Commitment to Udinese Amid Interest

Maduka Okoye, the 26-year-old goalkeeper for Udinese, has confirmed he will not leave the club this summer despite growing interest from Juventus and other top European teams. Okoye had an impressive season, recording 10 clean sheets in 30 league appearances, contributing to Udinese's top-half finish in Serie A.

He is currently valued at €10 million by Transfermarkt and has two years remaining on his contract. Okoye expressed his commitment to Udinese, stating he is focused on his career and enjoying his time at the club without distractions from potential transfers.

He has also been involved in off-field activities, including attending a fashion event in Paris alongside American rapper Cardi B. As the new season approaches, Okoye is set to return to pre-season training and aims to build on his previous form, linking up with Eric Chell for Nigeria's squad in the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers starting in September.

Udinese will kick off their 2026/27 campaign with a Coppa Italia fixture against Serie B side Padova on August 15.
