Juventus and Besiktas Target Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye

Maduka Okoye, a 26-year-old Nigerian international goalkeeper, has become a sought-after player in European football, particularly attracting interest from Juventus and Besiktas. During the 2025/26 Serie A season, Okoye delivered an impressive performance, keeping 10 clean sheets and conceding 32 goals in 30 appearances, which played a significant role in helping Udinese secure a comfortable 10th place finish.

Juventus, looking to revamp their goalkeeping options after facing difficulties in pursuing Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez, has turned its attention to Okoye, who is valued at €15 million. The club is reportedly preparing to negotiate with Udinese, which has no urgent need to sell the player.

Besiktas, managed by Vincenzo Italiano, is also interested in strengthening their squad after conceding 40 goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season. Okoye is seen as an ideal candidate due to his ability to make crucial saves and his commanding presence in the penalty area.
