Olise revealed his intentions during the FIFA World Cup, with Real Madrid already aware of his interest. Despite Bayern Munich's reluctance to sell Olise, who has a contract with the club until 2029, discussions regarding his future are anticipated during the tournament.

Bayern Munich's president, Herbert Hainer, has dismissed speculation about Olise's potential move to Real Madrid, stating that the club does not wish to sell him. Additionally, Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano has attempted to persuade Olise to remain at the club.
