Advocates Push for Investment in Nigerian Sports at Summit

The 11th edition of the Ladi Sport LI International Summit took place in Lagos, gathering policymakers, administrators, and investors to discuss the future of sports in Nigeria and across Africa. Notable speakers included Bukola Olopade, Director General of the National Sports Commission, and former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun.

Yemi Idowu, founder of the Nigeria School Sport Federation, stressed the importance of government and private sector investment in sports as a tool for social transformation rather than merely for commercial gain.
