Olubadan of Ibadan Renews Call for Ibadan State Creation, Urges President's Approval

Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has renewed the call for the creation of Ibadan State during his coronation ceremony as the 44th Olubadan. He urged President Bola Tinubu to approve the request, emphasizing the importance of upholding tradition and unity in Ibadanland.

Governor Seyi Makinde also supported the demand, highlighting the significance of the occasion. The peaceful succession process leading to Oba Ladoja's enthronement was commended, with hopes for lasting peace and progress in Ibadanland and Oyo State.
