Olubadan of Ibadan Commends Governor Sanwo-Olu's Achievements During Lagos Visit

The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, visited Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos State Government House in Marina to commend the governor's accomplishments and express gratitude for Lagos' assistance during his coronation last year. Oba Ladoja lauded Governor Sanwo-Olu's infrastructure development initiatives in Lagos State and emphasized the significant role of traditional rulers in governance.

As the Chairman of the Oyo State Traditional Council, Oba Ladoja praised the governor's efforts in traffic management and transportation, particularly the improvement in journey times through projects like the blue and red rail lines and water transport systems. The monarch called for the recognition and strengthening of traditional institutions in Nigeria to enhance collaboration between monarchs and government authorities.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, in turn, commended Oba Ladoja's leadership in promoting peace and unity in Oyo State. The visit underscored the importance of traditional values and collaboration between traditional rulers and government for societal development.
