Omoni Oboli Responds to Twitter Critic, Receives Google Award

Nigerian actress and producer Omoni Oboli replied to a Twitter user, Zeke Abanum, who challenged her filmmaking skills, stating she believes she has done a great job creating compelling Hollywood-standard movies. She recently received a plaque from Google at their office in Ikoyi, Lagos, for being a top creator on YouTube in 2025.

The award ceremony also featured Afro gospel artist Akinad Ibuoy, known as Gais Baba, whose song "Honour" sparked mixed reactions online. Oboli expressed gratitude to God, family, friends, and fans for their support.

This comes after controversies surrounding her hit movies and accusations of copyright infringement.
