Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade is facing criticism after sharing her experience during a production involving African languages on the It’s A Wrap show. She recounted noticing inaccuracies in the use of Egun and Yoruba languages, particularly from an actress who is Igbo, during a sound recording session.

Omotola approached the project supervisor to suggest using native speakers for accurate representation of the languages but was informed that the studio was not concerned about linguistic accuracy.
