Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Celebrates 30 Years with "Mother's Love"

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a prominent Nollywood actress, marks three decades in the film industry with her debut feature film titled "Mother's Love." This film, co-written with Tyna Obahiagbon, explores the intricate dynamics of mother-daughter relationships and unresolved grief. Omotola, who has been a significant figure in Nollywood, discussed her journey during a recent media tour, emphasizing the film's personal significance as a gift to her family. "Mother's Love" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and has received great acclaim.

It is scheduled for a nationwide release in Nigeria on March 6, 2026. The film features a familiar cast, including Omotola herself, Ifeanyi Kalu, Norai Nehita, Lilian Afegbai, Nosa Rex, and Olumide Oworu.
