Kano Governor Yusuf Resigns from NNPP, Emphasizes Divine Will in Politics

Kano State Governor Yusuf has resigned from the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), stating that political power is transient and ultimately determined by divine will. During a motorbike distribution event, he cautioned against promoting division and hate speech on social media, urging unity among Kano residents.

The absence of Deputy Governor Aminu Gwarzo at the event has fueled speculation of a growing rift within the state's political leadership, especially following Governor Yusuf's resignation from NNPP. Gwarzo has been seen aligning closely with NNPP leader and former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Notably, Gwarzo welcomed Kwankwaso at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport upon his return to the state.
