Ned Nwoko and Tinubu Push for Anioma State Creation in Nigeria

Nigerian lawmaker Ned Nwoko, backed by Bola Tinubu, is pushing for the creation of Anioma State in Nigeria. The proposal has gained momentum with support from 97 senators and traditional rulers.

The new state would include nine local government areas in Delta North. After completing the constitutional process, Tinubu is expected to sign the state creation instrument.

Nwoko plans to meet with Anioma representatives in Anambra State to finalize the region's official candidacy for the new state.
