Senator Ned Nwoko Supports Creation of Anioma State Backed by Tinubu

Senator Ned Nwoko from Delta North has garnered attention for advocating the establishment of Anioma State, supported by President Bola Tinubu. The proposal, discussed at an event in Abuja, has seen progress with 97 senators endorsing the idea.

The creation of Anioma State would involve nine local government areas in Delta North. The move is part of ongoing constitutional reviews for new state formations in Nigeria, with discussions expected to continue until December 2025.
