Senate Exclusive Authority to Reinstate Senator Natasha Clarified

Despite a court order nullifying the suspension and compelling reinstatement, the Clerk's Office stated that the Senator's status can only change through a new Senate resolution or a definitive court order. The office noted that the matter is sub judice as it awaits a decision from the Court of Appeal.

Senator Natasha had notified the Clerk's Office of her intention to resume legislative duties, but the response is pending Senate leadership or a court decision.
