Trabzonspor's Onuachu Faces Competition from Richarlison

Paul Onuachu, a striker for Trabzonspor, could encounter increased competition for a starting position if Tottenham forward Richarlison completes his proposed transfer to the Turkish club. Reports indicate that Richarlison has agreed to personal terms with Trabzonspor and is eager to move to Turkey; however, the transfer has not yet been approved.

Tottenham has turned down two offers from Trabzonspor for Richarlison, who is expected to return with a better bid before the Turkish transfer window closes. The addition of Richarlison would enhance Trabzonspor’s attacking options, where Onuachu is already a key player.

Trabzonspor's vice-president, Zeyyat Kafkas, previously expressed the club's desire to maintain the core of their squad, including Onuachu, although a substantial offer could change that stance. Onuachu had a successful 2025/26 season with Trabzonspor, contributing to their Turkish Cup victory and establishing himself as a leading attacker.
