Onuachu Welcomes Salah to Trabzonspor as New Partner

Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has gained a significant strike partner with the arrival of Mohamed Salah at Trabzonspor. Salah signed a two-year contract with Trabzonspor, reportedly worth €17 million per season, after leaving Liverpool.

The unveiling took place on Wednesday, with a signing ceremony scheduled for Thursday evening at Papara Park. Onuachu, who finished as the joint top scorer in the Super Lig last season with 22 goals and two assists in 30 appearances, expressed his commitment to Trabzonspor despite interest from other Turkish clubs and Saudi Arabia.

He stated that his heart was set on staying with Trabzonspor, emphasizing his connection to the city and the fans. Salah's creativity and goal-scoring ability are expected to enhance Onuachu's performance as they aim for the Super Lig title after finishing third last season.
