Salah Shines with Brace in Trabzonspor's Victory

Mohamed Salah scored two goals in his first start for Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig, contributing to a 2-1 victory against Istanbul Basaksehir. Salah, who joined Trabzonspor on a two-year deal after leaving Liverpool, almost completed a hat-trick but had a goal ruled offside.

He scored his first goal by taking the ball off the away goalkeeper, Muhammed Sengezer, and netting via a deflection. After Eldor Shomurodov equalized for Basaksehir from the penalty spot, Salah restored Trabzonspor's lead with a first-time finish from 10 yards.

Trabzonspor's coach, Fatih Tekke, has addressed the goal drought of Paul Onuachu, who was the top scorer in the league last season but has not scored in seven consecutive league matches. Salah and other experienced players are reportedly working to boost Onuachu's confidence amid the mounting pressure.
