Paul Onuachu Sets New Scoring Record at Trabzonspor

Paul Onuachu, a 31-year-old striker for Trabzonspor, has achieved a remarkable feat by scoring in six consecutive matches, setting a new scoring record for the Turkish club. He scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 victory against Fatih Karagümrük and has also contributed to wins against Antalyaspor, Samsunspor, and Gaziantep FK.

Onuachu missed a match against Kocaelispor due to suspension from the Africa Cup of Nations but returned to score in a 3-2 defeat against Fenerbahçe. Currently, he leads the Super Lig goal race with 18 goals in 21 appearances and has added one goal in two matches in the Ziraat Türkiye Cup, totaling 36 goals and 6 assists in 48 appearances for Trabzonspor.

His scoring streak has made him the first foreign player in the club's history to score in five consecutive weeks, surpassing the previous record held by Shota Arveladze during Fatih Tekke's management.
